Tales From The Dorm - Blue Movies in the Dayroom

Gonna take things down a different road for a while, I think.  There's so much negative crap going on in the world right now that I think I'm gonna take a break from all that shit and look at the lighter side of life in general and, in this case, life in BMTS in particular as seen from the MTI's perspective.

First, a few definitions for all you non-Air Force types out there.

When I was stationed at Lackland AFB TX in the early 1980s as an MTI, BMTS stood for either Basic Military Training School or Basic Military Training Squadron.  Which one it was referring to depended on the number in front of it.  If the number was 3700, then the term was referring to the school itself that administered Air Force Basic Training, or BMT for short.  If it was any other number (all of which began with 37) then it was referring to an individual training squadron.  And MTI stands for Military Training Instructor, which the other services call a Drill Sergeant.

I was assigned to the 3711th BMTS from 1982 - 1986, and I'll tell you hands down that this was the best 4 years of my 23 year career.  It was also the most frustrating 4 years as well, as any past or present MTI can attest to.  But it had its lighter moments as well, and those lighter moments are the subjects for the next few posts.  And scattered among them will be things that I saw that were not so smart; actually, they were stupid as hell, especially when an MTI did it, and today's tale is one of those.

MTIs are supposed to be the best of the best NCOs in the entire Air Force, and the selection process is long and rigorous.  (At least it was back then, anyway.)  These are the men and women who are responsible for taking civilians and turning them into Airmen, and it's a very tough, very stressful job.  Every moment you walk around in uniform and on duty, you are literally walking around holding your career in your hands.  ONE mistake, if it was serious enough, would get you kicked out of the MTI career field, and that would nuke your career for at least the next 7 years.  I say 7 years because that's how long the "Overall UNSATISFACTORY APR" (Airman Performance Report) counted against the points you needed for promotion.  Most UNSAT APRs were 2s or 3s, with the highest rating being a 5.   Get an overall 2 or 3 APR and you're dead in the water for promotion for the next 7 years.

But even knowing all of this, sometimes an MTI would have a lapse in judgement or stray from the expected and required course of conduct and do something that would end his career as an MTI and nuke his chances for promotion or, in some cases, end his career entirely and land his dumb ass in Fort Leavenworth with no stripes on his sleeve and a Dishonorable Discharge.  (Can you say "good bye, military benefits?")

Such was the case in the spring of 1984.  For reasons I'm still not sure of, the MTI of a male flight in its 4th week out of 6 weeks of training thought it would be a good idea to put his flight in the dayroom one Saturday afternoon when there was no training going on and show them porno flicks using a projector he brought from home.  (This was pre-cell phones, remember.)  After all, they'd been sequestered from all outside contact with females for 4 weeks, so they had to be feeling it by now, right?  So this not-too-bright MTI thought it would be a good idea to show them pornos in the dayroom.

He also thought it would be a good idea to charge them a buck a head.  With a flight of 50+ airmen, that's some pretty good pocket change.  It went so well and he made such good money that he decided to do it again the following Saturday, only this time after he showed HIS flight the porno flick, he went across the hall to the sister flight (BMT flights always trained in pairs and were called 'sister flights') and showed it to them as well.

And he would have gotten away with it, too, if he hadn't decided to charge the sister flight TWO bucks a head instead of just one.

As it so happened, the next day during Squadron Liberty the members of the two flights got together on the squadron patio to talk about what a great guy their MTI was, and of course it came out that he was charging one flight more than the other.  This pissed off at least one trainee in the sister flight, and on his way out of the Dining Hall after the evening meal he picked up a Critique form out of the box next to the exit hallway, filled it out with his complaint about being charged twice as much as his sister flight to see porno flicks in the dorm, and dropped it in the box in the Dining Hall. There was an NCO in BMTS who would go around to each of the Dining Halls every day and unlock the box where the completed critiques were, and take them back to the school for review.  The individual squadrons did NOT have access to the completed forms for obvious reasons.

At this point I need to explain what a Critique Form was and why it was so hated by MTIs.

As the name implies, it's a form that allows ANY basic trainee to complain about ANYTHING he encounters while in BMT, and as you can imagine that form was one of the most misused forms the Air Force ever put out.  If a trainee didn't like how much his MTI was yelling, for example, all he had to do was drop a critique form and the MTI would be investigated.  99% of the time the investigation consisted of a simple phone call back to the squadron asking if the incident cited in the critique had happened, and when they were told 'no' the matter was dropped.  If the trainee had signed his name to it (which he didn't have to do), the trainee was contacted by the First Sergeant and informed that his critique had been reviewed, investigated, and that no further action was necessary or required.  But every now and then a trainee would drop a critique on an MTI about something that really DID happen, and this was one of those times.

Two days later the Training Superintendent of the 3700th BMTS - that's the SCHOOL, mind you - showed up in that MTI's squadron with the OSI in tow.  An hour later they all walked out of the squadron with the MTI in handcuffs headed for the OSI's office for further interrogation.  The OSI took statements from every single airmen in both flights, all of whom verified that the incident had really happened and the prices charged, and when the NCO's courts martial took place he wisely pled guilty.

Last I heard he was working as a skycap out at the airport.

While it's funny to hear this and to laugh at the whole thing, it's only funny because it didn't happen to you.  (And it IS funny, you have to admit!) But sometimes you just gotta sit back and as yourself, "WTF was that guy thinking?"

This was one of those times.

More Tales form the Dorm later.

A Work In Progress

And I've had to do a lot of forgiving in the past six or seven months, let me tell you.

Anyone who knows me should have been able to tell that I'm not the same person I was seven months ago.  I've had to change just about every aspect of my life, and what I didn't change was changed for me - and not with my consent.  I was betrayed and abandoned by the one group of people that I never thought would do that, and a few of the people who I considered to be my closest friends were among them.

I'll be the first to tell you that I don't make friends easily because I'm a difficult person to get close to - and I'm that way by nature, not on purpose.  But I'll also tell you that if you're my friend, you will have no more loyal and dependable a friend than me.  I'm the kind of friend that if you call me at two in the morning and tell me you need me RIGHT NOW, I won't ask why.  I'll just ask where you are and can you hold out until I get there.

And of course, I expect the same in return.  I realize that most people are incapable of this kind of loyalty, so I'm very choosy about who I let into my inner circle and who I call 'friend.'

Right now my inner circle is smaller than it's ever been, all thanks to the events of the past seven months.  I made at least one bad choice and let at least one person into my inner circle who didn't deserve it, and now I'm paying for it.  I won't make that mistake with this person again, trust me on that.

I won't go into detail about what happened for several reasons.  First, I'd have to embarrass a few people by airing some despicable things that were done and/or said about me, and that would serve no viable purpose.  It wouldn't change anything, so I won't go there.  Second, it's a long story - and I mean a LONG story.  I wrote it all down for posterity and to keep the sequence of events straight in my head, and it comes out to SEVEN single spaced typed pages.  And lastly, I don't talk shit about people behind their backs - unlike the rest of the people in this group to which I'm referring (and you know who you are).

So let me just say that my faith in people has pretty much been shattered, and I don't trust people like I used to.  Not that I trusted them all that much to begin with, but now I trust them less than I ever have.  I realize that I'm overreacting, but I can't help it.  That's just me, it's just the way I am.  But at least I realize it, and I'm working on it.

Overall, I'm a work in progress, so please bear with me.  I'll get it all straightened out in due time.

What Did It Accomplish?

So now, two days after the much talked-about "No Kings" rally, you have to ask yourself one simple question:  What did it accomplish?

The easy answer is nothing.  Nothing positive for the libtards, anyway.  But it did accomplish a lot of other things for everyone else across the face of the globe, things that I'm sure the left didn't count on and won't acknowledge even though it's true.

So let's take a look at all of the things those rallies accomplished, shall we?

On the national level, it showed us that the left still hates Donald Trump.  Tell us something we didn't already know.  These protests were nothing more than the biggest case of mass Trump Derangement Syndrome the world has ever seen.

It also showed us that the left hasn't come to terms with the fact that their APPOINTED - not ELECTED, mind you, but APPOINTED - nominee lost the last Presidential election last year by a landslide.  Trump was the first candidate in recent memory to sweep ALL of the swing states, even thought 99% of the polls predicted that Kameltoe was going to win them all.  (Another reason why I don't pay any attention to polls.)

And since the United States currently has a President and not a king, and that we haven't been ruled or governed by a king since 1776, it showed us that the liberal left is now making up things to protest about, all in the name of showing how much they hate Trump.  Again, tell us something we didn't already know.

It showed the rest of the world just how utterly stupid the liberal left is.  I mean, really, who in their right mind demonstrates against something that doesn't exist?  Yeah, I know, the left was trying to tell us that they thought Trump was acting like a king, and to that I say bullshit.  These are the same people who think that the United States is a democracy, when it's not - it's a Constitutional Republic.  The only reason they think he's acting like a king is because they don't like what he's doing.

Which leads us right back to their Trump Derangement Syndrome.  The left in general and the Demoncrats in particular have only one strategy, and that strategy is to hate Trump and oppose anything he does.  These are the same people who were screaming "Free Palestine" at the top of their lungs, so you'd think they'd celebrate and have mass demonstrations to show their glee when Trump brokered the peace deal, right?

Wrong.  They didn't say a word because Trump was responsible for it.  The only thing they said was that Biden had been working on that plan for years, totally ignoring the fact that he worked on it for YEARS and wasn't able to make it happen.  Trump comes along and does it in ten months, and the left is silent.

The main thing that these rallies showed to the half of the nation's population that voted for Trump and to the rest of the world is that, overall, the liberal left has no brains.  None.  They're as stupid as a box of hammers.  They totally ignore facts and choose their opinions based on their personal feelings instead.  They are the biggest group of intentionally ignorant and just downright stupid people I've ever seen.  They're also the biggest bunch of hypocrites, but we all knew that.

So overall, did the rallies do anything positive?  No.  Not for the liberal left, that is.  But of course, the liberal left is too stupid to realize this.

Just wait until 2028.  They're gonna lose their collective minds when JD Vance kicks the shit out of whatever loser they run against him.  The question is, will that person be elected or nominated?

Time will tell.

Who Cares?

The libtards do, that's who.

In case you've been living under a rock and don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the "No Kings" rallies that are supposed to take place across the nation today.  This is the day that the crybaby libtards have decided is the day that they're all going to go out into the streets and demonstrate against Donald Trump, who they have decided is acting like a king.

Truth be told, if Trump WAS acting like a king, there's no way in hell he'd allow the protests to take place.  But he's not a king and he knows it; he's the President of the United States, and he's going to let the citizens exercise their Constitutional right to protest.  That's what a President does, not a king.

But of course the libtards refuse to see this.  They're so caught up in their Trump Derangement Syndrome that they have to make up a reason to protest against him.  And IMHO, this "no kings" bullshit is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of - right next to 'gender neutral' bathrooms, that is.

The libtards think they're protesting a President who has overstepped his authority and has harmed the nation; of course they think this, because they're libtards who are suffering from the worst mass case of TDS the world has ever seen - and it's getting worse.  But in reality, here's what they're protesting about using the FACTS of what Trump has actually done.

They're protesting against enforcing the laws that keep the people and our nation safe.

They're protesting to protect criminals and illegal immigrants.

They're protesting lowering the crime rate in major cities.

They're protesting a more level playing field in the international trade field that this nation has seen in decades.

They're protesting against the ending of the Israeli/Palestinian war.

They're protesting FOR Hamas and AGAINST Israel.

They're protesting for drug smuggling from Venezuela.

They're protesting for open borders.

They're protesting for wasting YOUR tax dollars on providing FREE health care for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

They're protesting for letting men use the girl's bathroom.

They're protesting for letting men compete against women in women's sports.

I say that these are the things they're protesting for because this is kind of a 'reverse' list of all the good things that Trump has done in the past 10 months.  But the libtards and the Demoncrats have a collective case of TDS, so of course they're going to protest against anything Trump does simply because it's Trump doing it.

This is the mantra of the left and the Demoncratic party.  "Hate Trump" is all they know, so this is what they do.  And they're too stupid to realize that the majority of the people in the nation disagree with them - the majority that elected Trump to begin with.  They're also too stupid to realize that all they're doing by following this 'strategy' of hating Trump is ensuring that they'll lose the next election.

Especially if they run Kameltoe Harris.  She's a guaranteed win for the Republicans.

Strange, that this "No Kings" protest comes from the party that totally ignored the democratic process they cherish so much and installed a queen to run against Trump instead of letting the people vote for her.  Hypocrisy at its very best.

But then, that's all the left knows and is the only thing they're good at.  And that's the reason they're going to lose the next THREE Presidential elections.

Yep, that's my prediction, and you can take it to the bank.  Vance is going to win in 2028 and 2032, and whoever is his VP during those years will run and win in 2036. I'm hoping it'll be Mark Rubio, but I'll settle for Ted Cruise.

Mark my words.  In the mean time, we get to watch NYC crumble to the ground once those morons elect Mamdani as mayor.

Just you watch.

Fat Boys On Parade

If you've been paying attention to the national news media over the past couple of days, then you've probably already seen the picture above, and you know what it's all about.  If not, allow me to enlighten you.

The picture shows members of the Texas National Guard arriving in Illinois, and was the lead-in for a story about how six Guardsmen from Texas were sent home from their deployment to Illinois for "failure to meet mission standards."  That was all of the information given; the exact reason why they were sent home was never stated.

If you have any kind of military experience as I do (or any common sense at all), then all you have to do is take one look at the picture and you know why they were sent home right away.  When I saw this picture for the first time my immediate response was, "How the fuck are these fat assholes still in the Guard?"  Then I remembered that it was the National Guard, and that answered my question right away.

I'm guessing that the "mission standards" the article referred to are the weight and fitness standards for the National Guard.  Both the Reserves and the National Guard are required to meet the same fitness and weight standards as the regular active duty forces, and one look at this picture tells you that at least three of these guys are WAY over the weight limit. And to be honest, I'm not at all surprised.  (In fairness to the fat boys in the picture, the article never identified them as the six men that were sent home, but I have ten bucks that says they were.)

When I was stationed at Langley AFB Va for the last 8 years of my service, I spent 2 years as the Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge of the Training Section, and one of my duties was that of the Unit IMA Coordinator.  IMA stands for "Individual Mobilization Augmentee," which is part of the Air Force Reserves.  The members of the IMA program were made up of two types of people - those who had served at least 4 years in the active forces and knew what it was all about, or those who had never served on active duty and were doing this as a spare time gig.  The IMAs were required to perform two weeks of active duty service once a year, and as the Unit IMA Coordinator I was the one who scheduled them and assigned them to a flight for duty.  I was also the one who processed them in and out of the squadron, which means I was the one who had to make sure their uniforms were up to date and correctly worn, and that they were meeting USAF Fitness and Weight Standards.

Which means the first thing I did when they got to my office was to take them to the Orderly Room and have them step on the scales.

With the folks who had served on active duty this was hardly ever a problem.  I think I sent one, maybe two of them home because they were overweight, but with the others who had no active service in their background it was another thing entirely.  I sent at least 50% of them home immediately because they were WAY overweight, with a letter following them telling them that if they failed to meet the weight standards the next time they reported for duty, they would be discharged from the program.  I ended up discharging six of them for this reason in the 2 years I had this duty.

This brings to light the main reason why I have very little respect for the Reserves, and absolutely NO respect for the National Guard.  Discipline in reserve units is extremely lax compared to the active forces, with it being almost non-existent in National Guard units.   When I was in the Gulf during the Gulf War, we had about two dozen Reservists assigned to my unit, and all they did was bitch and complain about how "this isn't what I signed up for" and "I didn't sign up for this shit" and "I'm losing so much money by being over here!"  One of them was so bad that I grabbed him by the front of his shirt and told him that if he didn't STFU I was gonna shove my GAU (rifle) up his ass and blow his brains out.  At the end of the shift I told the Shift Leader NOT to assign this asshole to me again and told him why, and when the Reservist came to complain about me the Shift Leader told him to STFU and go away.

And the National Guard is worse than the Reserves in every aspect.  All National Guard units are controlled by their individual state governors and NOT the Department of War.  The only time the Guard comes under the control of the Department of War is when the President federalizes them as he did before sending the Guard into Oregon and Illinois. They have the same regulations and requirements as the regular active duty forces and are supposed to follow them, and there are active duty military members assigned to the units to make sure this happens.  But it doesn't, and since I'm not a member of the National Guard I can't tell you why this happens.  But one look at that picture above tells you that it does.

Am I being too hard on the Reserves and National Guard?  One might think so, but I base my opinions and lack of respect on my personal experience.  Like I said, there are some really great folks in both organizations, but they're the exception rather than the rule.

And don't even get me started on the state militia, the South Carolina State Guard.  That's for another day and another blog entry.

Another Asshole Heard From

Yet another Hollywood actor who thinks he's an authority on something has opened his mouth and shit all over anyone with an ounce of common sense - which means conservatives, because common sense is a flower that doesn't grow in the libtard garden.

Martin Sheen, a notorious liberal from Day One, is a great actor and I'll be the first to admit it.  He was excellent in "Apocalypse Now," "The Departed," and he was nothing short of brilliant in "The West Wing."  But just because he played a President on TV doesn't mean he's qualified to give advice to or cajole a sitting President like he just did President Trump.

In an interview he gave with Nicholle Wallace, a notorious libtard "reporter," he said (among other things) that Trump was "the biggest nothing in the world."  He also said that President Donald Trump’s actual administration is a corrupt and joyless one.  After blasting ICE agents and suggesting they are wearing masks partially out of shame, Sheen said of the White House, "When you look at this group of people at the roundtable in the White House… every one of those people look across the table and they do not see anyone who is better than they are. They generally see a reflection of their worst selves."

He added, "There’s no heroes in there. There’s no music. There’s no laughter. There’s no self-effacement. There’s no joy in that room. It smells of ego and fear and false worship."

And lastly, he said "Stop fussing with your hair and don’t worry about your tie, and stand up straight and speak clearly, not from your throat. Speak from your heart and start being human. That’s what you were made for, not golf. So there you are, Mr. President. With all due respect, sir."

News flash, Marty - just because you end it with a lame statement like "with all due respect" doesn't give you the right to be condescending and insulting, which you most certainly were.  And for him to say that ICE agents wear masks out of shame is nothing short of just plain stupid, not to mention his claim that the Trump administration was corrupt.  I guess he's turning a blind eye to the Biden Crime Family's activities during the Biden administration, which is rapidly being proven to be the most corrupt Presidential administration since Ulysses S. Grant.

Sheen is another prime example of a performer who needs to just STFU and act.  For him to say that the man who brokered a peace agreement in the Middle East not once but TWICE is "the biggest nothing in the world" shows a staggering amount of intentional ignorance and flat-out stupidity.  Trump has done things for this nation that have benefited every American citizen more than any other President since - well, since he was President before, and I dare say that the only person who could even come close to accomplishing the good things that he has is JD Vance.  The Demoncrats don't have ANYONE who is qualified to sit in the same arena as Trump, much less equal what he's done.

Sheen is a brilliant actor, but he's the poster child for liberal stupidity, ego, and intentional ignorance.  He should take his own advice and start being human.  Stay the fuck out of politics and stick to what you know best - acting.

In other words, shut the fuck up and act.

You're In The Army Now

Since Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made his speech to the first-ever gathering of generals, admirals, and high ranking enlisted personnel three days ago, the internet in general and TikTok in particular have blown up.  I wish I could say that most of it is positive, but it's not.  Sure, you're going to find some people who support what the Secretary had to say - like me - but for the most part all you're going to see are one of three things - libtards who have never served complaining about what he said, libtards who are currently serving complaining about what he said, and libtards who are just looking for something else to complain about concerning the Trump administration.  I can sum up my feelings on these three groups very easily and in very few words, and here they are.

For the first and last groups - shut the fuck up.  You've never served so you have NO IDEA what the fuck you're talking about.

For the second group - shut the fuck up.  One of the things you give up when you put on the uniform is the freedom to voice your opinions in a public forum about things going on in the military.  You willingly signed this freedom away when you signed your enlistment papers and took the oath, so you have no legal or moral right to publicly criticize ANYONE in your chain of command, no matter who it is.  There's a process set up for this called the Inspector General Program, so I suggest you use it.  And if you think that you won't get any satisfaction from it, let me remind you that the IG program is one of the programs that the Secretary said he was going to overhaul to make it more effective.  So use what's available to you; if you choose not to, then shut the fuck up.

For those of you who have already blasted your opinion in a public forum (such as the black female US Army staff sergeant on TikTok), you have violated at least two articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which means you have opened yourself up to legal action being taken against you.  And should your command decide to prosecute, you'll deserve whatever you get.  You knowingly and intentionally with malice aforethought said things in a public forum to bring discredit upon your service and yourself, and you deserve to be punished.  So shut the fuck up and take what's coming to you.

And if you don't like what the Secretary is doing, then I strongly suggest that when your enlistment is over, you get the fuck out of the military and go work for Starbucks.

But in the mean time, just shut the fuck up.

My Kinda Man!

In case you're not keeping up on current events, when it comes to the US military and the newly-renamed War Department and Secretary of War, President Trump has picked an absolute winner!  Secretary Pete Hegseth is just what our ailing, DEI-riddled, 'woke' military needed - a swift kick in the balls followed by a bunch of rules that are not new but were discarded over the past 4 years of the Biden administration.

The Biden administration and its woke Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, transformed the US military from a fighting force to a DEI-riddled, 'woke' bunch of fat, mentally ill, and unqualified pussies.  The US military became the laughing stock of the world, hampered by useless regulations and restrictions on use of force during combat engagements and the unwillingness of the command leadership to stand up to Biden and his band of merry idiots.  They were too busy worrying about their own careers instead of being worried about the fighting abilities of the Armed Forces because the Biden administration made it clear that if you wanted to keep your stars, you got on board with his pussified 'woke' agenda.  This is how we ended up with a mentally ill Surgeon General who was also a Navy admiral - and yes, transgenderism is a mental illness.  It's called 'gender dysphoria,' and before Biden took over it was an automatic disqualifier from military service.

But Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, a former US Army officer and Iraq War veteran, is changing all that.  He spoke at an unprecedented gathering of every general officer in the US military at Quantico, Virginia yesterday, and he laid the law down to everyone there.  And from the reactions of the audience, 99% of them were elated to hear what he had to say.

Secretary Hegseth said that he was putting out a series of directives that would transform the US military from its current slovely state into a lean, mean, trim, trained, and motivated fighting machine, and that these directives were effective immediately.  Some of them he mentioned were:

-    Service members from all branches now must execute two annual fitness tests, with one being the already existing fitness test and the other being either a combat field test for combat arms personnel or a CFT or regular fitness test for non-combat arms personnel.

-  Active-duty service members are to perform physical fitness training every duty day, and that National Guard and reserve component members must continue to take at least one fitness test annually.

-  Warfighters in combat-related occupations must execute their fitness test at a gender-neutral male standard with a score of 70% or higher

-  Beards will be no longer authorized.

A memo on that topic released in conjunction with Hegseth’s speech explains that service members with facial hair-related medical exemptions will have one year to seek and execute a medical treatment plan to resolve the condition.

“Simply put, if you do not meet the male-level, physical standards for combat positions, cannot pass a PT test or don’t want to shave and look professional, it’s time for a new position or a new profession,” Hegseth said.

-  The War Department will begin undertaking a full review of the definitions of “so-called ‘toxic leadership,’ bullying and hazing,” in order to re-empower leaders to enforce high standards without fear of reprisal.

-  The implementation of a military equal opportunity and equal employment opportunity reform, also intended to re-empower leaders to pursue high standards without fear of potentially unjust reprisal.

-  Making changes to the retention of adverse information on personnel that will allow leaders with forgivable, earnest or minor infractions to not be encumbered by those infractions in perpetuity.

- He also said that promotions across the joint force should be based only on merit

I hate to sound like one of those old-timers that sit back and say, "Well, back in MY day, we did it like this..." but unfortunately, back in my day we DID do it like this.  All of the items I've just listed here were the norm for military service when I enlisted 50 years ago.  The Secretary is taking a hard line on qualifications and training, stating that ALL combat jobs will have ONE set of training requirements that ALL trainees must meet, male or female.  He said - and I agree with him - that if a female could meet the qualifications then she got the job; if not, she didn't, and that was that.  The age of the double standards - one for men and one for women - are officially OVER.  And this is LONG overdue!

Secretary Hegseth said that the US military should be a fighting force trained to do one thing - win wars, and that our enemies should be afraid of us.  And he's right - thanks to Joe Biden and his bunch of woke pussies, nobody fears the US military anymore, especially after how Biden gave up Afghanistan.  But now all that is going to change, and I predict that a year from now there are going to be a LOT of retired flag rank officers (generals and admirals) who retired rather than try to make the "new" old fitness standards.  I also predict that the US military will once again be a lean, mean, fighting MILITARY machine instead of the bunch of woke pussies it is now.

And thank God for that!
