A New Level of Idiocy

 

Meet Marcia Morey, a Demoncratic Representative from North Carolina.  Marcia is a former lawyer, a former judge, and a full time idiot.

The reason I say that she's a full time idiot is because of this statement she recently made during a session of the NC Legislature when referring to the heinous and horrifying murder of Irenya Zarutska by Decarlos Brown, a career criminal who had been arrested and released 14 times before he committed the murder:

"But don’t correlate what happened in January and a magistrate who set a bail according to guidelines to what happened in August. There is no correlation."

That's right, you read it right - Brown was arrested and released 14 times thanks to the broken bail system currently in place in Charlotte.  

Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that the bail system is broken, and that if Brown had been in jail where he belonged, Zarutska would still be alive today.  And on top of that, in my opinion she made it even worse by trying to defend the actions of the last judge who set this killer free by saying that he was 'just following guidelines.'

Well, here's the truth about that:  guidelines are just that - guidelines, not rules that absolutely must be followed.  A judge has the legal right and legal authority to set whatever punishments or bail amounts he feels is appropriate as long as he doesn't violate the law.  Not the guidelines, mind you, but the law.

In this case the judge, who was a liberal (of course) decided to set this maniac free so he could go murder someone.  

So once again you have a leftist libtard trying to defend the actions of another leftist libtard while placing the blame for that idiot's actions somewhere else.  A page right out of the leftist libtard playbook.

I can't help but wonder how this idiot would have felt if it was HER daughter that was killed.  I'm betting she'd be screaming bloody murder, but that's just me.

I can't wait to see how the trial turns out.  Let's hope and pray that a conservative judge with some common sense is assigned to the case.
