"WE THE PEOPLE"

Saw a video on Facebook just now that struck home with me so hard that I wanted to find the transcript and post it, so here it is. You may also want to check out the video on Youtube as well...guaranteed to get your heart pumping! (Unless your a Demoncrat or a liberal, that is...in that case it's gonna turn your stomach, and that's just too bad.)

Dear President Obama,

“We The People” have stated resolutely we reject your vision for our country. You claim you have not heard us.

“We The People” have assembled across America resisting your efforts to subvert our constitution and undermine our liberty. You claim you have not seen us.

Since you have not acknowledged our message, let us here present it once more for if as President Wilson said, “a leader’s ear must ring with the voices of the people,” the time has come.

Our greatest treasure is freedom – the absence of restraints on our ability to think and to act. The corollary of freedom is individual responsibility. We believe in the power of the individual.

A few years ago President Bush said, “History moves toward freedom because the desire for freedom is written in every human heart.” Let us add that we will preserve it only as long as devotion to freedom is expressed in the heart of our actions.

When President Lincoln dedicated Gettysburg National Cemetery he declared, “It is for us the living to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus so nobly advanced.”

That unfinished cause for which our soldiers willingly go to battle and for which so many have given their lives is a free United States of America. It has been nearly one hundred fifty years and the work President Lincoln spoke of is not finished. In fact, that work will never be finished.

Freedom is the capacity of self-determination. It is not an entity but a condition and conditions change. Freedom can expand, yet so can it contract.

You promised change when you took office, Mr. President, but subjugation is not change we wanted or will accept.

You have expanded government, violated our Constitution, confounded laws, seized private industry, destroyed jobs, perverted our economy, curtailed free speech, corrupted our currency, weakened our national security, and endangered our sovereignty.

By compromising our nation’s cultural, legal and economic institutions, you are ensuring that our children will never achieve the same quality of life as we enjoy today. Through generational theft you are robbing the unborn of opportunity.

This is not acceptable. Not in America. We did not become a strong nation through hope but rather through self-reliance.

No one better understands the relationship between individual achievement, dignity and strength than our armed forces. Through every war our soldiers have held this nation’s destiny in their hands. They have not failed us. They cherish freedom enough that they are willing to die for it.

Our duty to them and to ourselves is to treasure freedom enough to live up to it.

We accept the challenge, Mr. President. That is why we are assembling across the land to deliver our message to you as often and in every way we can. Dismiss us at your political peril.

Our great nation is a Republic. We will not accept tyranny under any guise. Your policy to redistribute the fruits of our labor is Statism and will not be tolerated.

By our honor, Mr. President, we vow forever to resist coercive government in America. Patriots will not stand silent as you attempt to dismantle the greatest nation on earth. “We The People” will defend our liberty. We will protect our beloved country and America’s exceptionalism will prevail.

God Bless the United States of America!

Sincerely,

We The People

A Scary Look at America's Future As Told by The Past

I was all set to write about something else today, but then I saw this on Facebook and it struck me as so frighteningly true and accurate that I just had to post it instead. I'm not sure of the origins of this piece, but it sure paints a scary picture of the future of our country should NObama get re-elected. See if it scares you as much as it does me...

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh,
had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent
form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.

From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the
most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage."

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota,
points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was
mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income
tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy,
with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached
the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the
USA in fewer than five years.

Like the line in the horror movie said: "Be afraid. Be very afraid."

I don't know about you, but I'm scared to death and am going to do the only thing I can do to prevent this prediction from coming true - I'm going to vote Republican in November!

Random Thoughts on a Wednesday Night

Got a lot going through my mind tonight, so rather than try to sort it all out and center on one topic I'll just sit here and let my fingers type out whatever's running through my mind as it runs through...

First and foremost, am I the only one who sees a shooting war with Iran coming? Their nutcase President is doing everything he can to provoke the West into attacking him, and I'm afraid that sooner or later he's gonna get around to poking Israel and those crazy sumbitches are gonna nuke him, but good. I have a feeling that's what he wants, too - if that happens it will serve to unite ALL of the Muslim countries into one coalition, and then he can start his "purge the Holy Land of the Infidels" campaign. And because of their religious beliefs, the rest of the Muslim nations will follow suit, even though in the past 20 years we've come to the aid of no less than three Muslim nations and done their dirty work for them - namely Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

But I also have to say that it wouldn't hurt my feelings one little bit to see every single American military member pulled out of the Middle East entirely. The people in that region have been fighting and killing each other since before the beginning of recorded history, and there's nothing we're gonna do to be able to stop it. The differences in our core religious beliefs are so far apart that I just don't ever see us being able to see eye to eye on anything, so the best thing to do IMHO is to just pull out and let them fight it out among themselves.

And speaking of being ungrateful, so now the people of Afghanistan are all pissed off that some copies of the Qu'aran accidentally got burned. Well, if you'd print the title in both English and Arabic, maybe we'd know what the damn thing was...in any case, rioting in the streets because a holy book got burned? Really? "Religion of peace," huh? With mobs of ragheads in the streets chanting "Death to America?" Screw 'em, pull the troops out, close the bases, and let the Taliban have the damned place.

And on the other side of the globe the equally crazy President of North Korea says that he'll attack South Korea if they hold their annual war games off the coast close to the DMZ. Well, since the South Koreans went ahead and had the war games anyway and the North Koreans did nothing but sit on their asses and watch, I guess we all know who's full of it and who isn't, huh? There's a nation I see falling into total economic and social chaos within the next ten years. Should be interesting to watch the government implode and the "loyal citizens" of North Korea march on Pyong Yang and drag Dear Leader out into the streets and then hang him by his Buster Browns. One can only hope.

There's an old saying that goes something like, "Those who forget history are destined to repeat it." Well, I hate to say it, but the United States of America - the government, anyway - seems to be the resident expert at forgetting history and then repeating it. I was reading on the web a short bit ago that the Air Force is nearing completion of a new Basic Training complex at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and the article struck me for two reasons: first, it's not "Lackland Air Force Base" anymore, it's "Joint Base Lackland-San Antonio." (Just like my last base, Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, is now "Joint Base Langley-Eustis.") Personally, I find the combining of two bases of different services a very bad idea in both name and practicality, because in doing so you're not only stripping the individual bases and the services of their history and pride, you're taking two different services with two different ideologies and missions and placing them under one commander who is from one of the two services - and that commander will not have the knowledge of the workings and capabilities of the other service as much as the other commander would. I know this was done to "unify command" and save money, but I think it's a huge mistake.

Second, the article said that the new compound would have 4 dormitories in it and would hold 1,200 trainees total. The whole compound. Hell, in my day when i was an MTI at Lackland AFB, just ONE of the RH&T dorms - the ones that are being replaced by the new compounds - would hold a thousand trainees. And there were ELEVEN of these dorms at the time! So the message there is that the Air Force is not going to be training as many airmen as in the past, because the Feds have decided in their infinite wisdom - led by an inexperienced imbecile from Hawaii - that decreasing the size of the military is a good thing.

Maybe they should read the first four paragraphs of this blog, huh? Seems to me that with everything going on in the world, all of the unrest in the Middle East and the Far East, that you'd want to build up your forces instead of tearing them down. But then, that's just me.

And that's about it for now. I guess it's time for a glass of iced tea, a little Zuma on Facebook, and then bed. Got a busy day tomorrow.

Peace.

Our Racist President

Well, friends and neighbors, it's official: we have a racist for a President.

Why do I say this? Well, it seems that to cap off his celebration of Black History Month, NObama announced the launching of "African Americans for Obama" with a nice little message that you can view in its entirety on Youtube. Me, I got about halfway through it before I had to either stop watching it or throw up, so I decided to stop watching it. From what I saw of it, this new program of his is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to unite the black voters in America so they would vote for him and re-elect him via the same method that got him elected in the first place; namely, the color of his skin. To me, this proclamation says loud and clear that NObama realizes the ONLY reason he got elected was because he was black and that there were legions of black voters who cast their vote for him for just that reason and that reason alone, so now he's pandering to them so they'll do the same thing in November. He's flat-out admitting that he needs the black voters in America to vote for him, and the really sad thing is that he stands a really good chance of accomplishing his goal.

So how does all this make him a racist? Well, let me ask you this: if we had a WHITE president whose name was Smith, and he announced the formation of a group called "White Americans for Smith," just what do YOU think would happen? I'll tell you what would happen - the ACLU, the NAACP, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Maxine Waters would be screaming "RACIST!" at the top of their lungs, that's what.

Tell me I'm wrong, I dare ya.

So in my book, that makes The Great Pretender a RACIST, plain and simple.

But here's the thing about this announcement that disgusts me the most: the President of the United States is supposed to be the protector of and advocate for ALL Americans, not just the black ones. By announcing the formation of this group, NObama is essentially saying that if you're not black he doesn't give a shit about you. Right now he only cares about "his people," the black population of America. The caucasians, Latinos, orientals, and every other ethnic group which makes up the population of America can just go suck hind tit as far as he's concerned - if you ain't black, he don't care.

And that is WRONG, any way you slice it.

For a sitting President to take a vested and publicly acknowledged interest in only one section of the population is a disgrace to the Office of the President of the United States, and it's made even more heinous and disgusting by the fact that it's HIS race which is getting the special attention. The President of the United States should be treating ALL Americans with the same degree of respect, and should be giving ALL Americans an equal amount of attention. He should NOT be centering his attention on just one ethnic group, especially if it's HIS ethnic group. That is RACIST, plain and simple, and I daresay that if a white President had done this, the cries of impeachment would already be ringing from the Demoncrats and Libtards in Congress and in the liberal media.

But you haven't heard a peep from any of these nice folks, have you? No, nary a sound has been heard from the liberal media, and I daresay you won't hear it, either. NObama and the Demoncrats have had the liberal media in their pockets for decades, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

With the announcement of the formation of this racist group by the President of the United States, I can honestly say that I don't see one single reason why anyone from any other ethnic group should vote for this imbecile in November. I damned sure don't see any logical reason why any white person should vote for him - not after this.

I have never been as disgusted with a sitting President of the United States as I am with the racist currently occupying the White House. NObama is a total and utter disgrace to the nation and its people - ALL of its people, including the black ones whether they realize it or not - and I will do my utter best to ensure that he loses his bid for re-election in November. Our nation cannot afford to be led by a racist, white or black, and it is up to the American people to put a stop to this.

The only question now, is WILL YOU? Will you sit on your ass and let this racist get away with it and doom the nation to another disastrous four years of his bumbling, inept and racist leadership, or will you restore dignity, respect, and equal treatment to the Office of the President of the United States by electing someone else?

I know what I'm gonna do, bet your ass on that.

Okay, So Whitney Houston's Dead - Get Over It!

I hate it when a celebrity dies, especially when the death is a result of said celebrity's own bad decisions that led them on their own self-destructive road.

I hate it for several reasons, the first and foremost being that I hate to see anyone's life come to an untimely end - well, almost anyone, that is. Bin Laden had it coming, and I'll dance in the streets the day that the President of Iran kicks the bucket. Second, in a lot of cases when a celebrity dies because of their own self-destructive habits, it's a huge waste of talent and a tragedy that they just pissed that talent away. (Are you listening, Michael Jackson?)

And the last reason is the media circus that takes place, especially if the death is untimely and the result of said celebrity's self-destructive habits. This media circus only serves to promote and prolong the public hand-wringing and tear-shedding by the those fans easily influenced by the media, and after a while it gets to the point where you just want to tell everyone to STFU and get over it.

And I'm just about at that point with the death of Whitney Houston.

Yes, her death was tragic, but she brought it on herself. She was the architect of her own fate, and as much as I'd like to blame Bobby Brown for it, SHE was the one who chose to stay with that self-centered, self-indulgent, egotistical, controlling bastard in the first place. If she'd left the son of a bitch when he started to use her for his own personal punching bag I think she'd have been okay. She most certainly would have not seen her career go down the crapper, and the drug abuse she went through also wouldn't have happened. But she chose to stay with him, and therefore she laid the first brick in the long, winding, tragic road that would ultimately lead to the destruction of her voice, her career, and lastly her early and tragic death.

Now that she's dead the media circus is in full swing, with the two new topics being all of the speculation on the cause of death (a mixture of alcohol and drugs, surprise, surprise!) and the "fragile" state of her suicidal daughter. Gee, I wonder where the daughter got those "suicidal tendencies" from?

And all we can do now is just endure the circus until something else comes along to divert the media's attention elsewhere. (My guess is something is about to happen in the Middle East, but that's for a later blog.)

So now Whitney Houston's name is the latest in the long list of celebrities who have killed themselves by their drug use, joining the likes of Janis Joplin, Jimmi Hendrix, John Belushi, Jim Morrison, and Chris Farley to name a few.

And that's a shame, it truly is, but what's done is done.

Life goes on, but only if you let it.

I Just Can't Figure This Out...

I make it a habit to always try and figure out the "other side's" views on issues that affect me and our nation, and I'm not scared to do some research and see the facts and figures for myself rather than listen to the sometimes-inane (and insane) psycho-babbling of the fanatics on either side of an issue, Liberal or Conservative. And with the Presidential elections coming up this year, I've been doing my homework trying to figure something out, and for the life of me I just can't figure this one out...

Why in the hell would anyone vote for NObama again?

I can see two reasons for someone voting for him, one logical and one stupid. The logical one is that there are folks out there who will vote along party lines no matter who the candidate is; they'll vote the Demoncratic ticket regardless of who's name is on the ballot, and to a point I can see that. I admire and respect loyalty, but when you let your loyalty blind you to doing what's going to be best for the nation as a whole, well, that's the point at which I can't see it anymore.

The other reason, the stupid one, is because he's black. And if you don't think that's the main reason that the majority of the black voters in America are going to vote for him - AGAIN - then I suggest you do some serious research on it. Check out the blogs, check out the Facebook pages, check out the websites, and then tell me I'm wrong. And the really scary thing about it is that most of the black people I've conversed with about him will stand up and tell you to your face that the ONLY reason they're voting for him is because he's black, and they're proud of it! No, they don't see it as racist - only WHITE people are racists, you know - and they're ready to line up at the polls again and re-elect him simply for the color of his skin.

And that's RACIST, pure and simple. It's also wrong, but I'll save this dialogue for anther blog.

To get back on track, after doing my own research and seeing the facts laid out in all their shameful glory, I just can't figure out why anyone would think that A) he's done a good job and "deserves" a second term, and B) it's a good idea to vote for him and give him another 4 years with which to further screw up our country. And here are some of my reasons for this:

He's the absolute King of Broken Promises. During his campaign he promised that he'd cap unemployment at 8%, yet we saw unemployment nationwide top out at more than 9% and stay there for a very long time. Even now the unemployment rate is above 8%, and not once during his administration has it dropped below the 8% rate once that point was reached and bypassed. He also promised "the most transparent administration" in our nation's history, yet the very first thing he did was to hold closed-door meetings to discuss strategies for shoving his health care plan down our throats. Then he and his band of merry idiots generously released the health care law draft for all of us to read, posting it on the internet where it remained for two days - all TWO THOUSAND PLUS PAGES of it.

So let me ask you, when was the last time you finished reading a two-thousand page long novel in two days? But he and his liberal buddies in Congress can say, "Hey, we put it out there for you to read, just like we said! Transparent government at work!"

Right.

He also said that "If I can't fix this in three years, then we're talking about a one-term proposition." Well, guess what, genius, it ain't fixed yet - but now he has the balls to say in an interview conducted last week that he think he "deserves" a second term. Sorry to inform you of this, Mr. President, but that's not for you to decide - or haven't you heard that yet?

He refuses to accept the blame for the failures of his policies in the first three years of his administration, choosing instead to play the "Blame Bush" game. At the same time as he's placing the blame on Bush for things that were HIS fault, he's busy taking credit for things that he didn't do but that Bush either did or set in motion, specifically the killing of Osama bin Laden. Yes, NObama was the sitting President when the time came to give the "go" order for the actual event, but the campaign was created, designed, authorized, and set in motion by Bush. And there's just NO WAY that NObama can take credit for that, even though he's tried. And in his State of the Union Address last month he took credit for "bailing out Ford" when the truth is that Ford is the ONLY one of the car companies that DID NOT take any bailout money. Nice try, NObama, but they did it on their own.

He has done literally nothing to improve the nations' economy, regardless of that much-vaunted "stimulus" program he shoved down our throats. File that one under "Broken Promises."

He has totally ignored the Constitution of the United States, the very document that he took an oath to protect and defend. He has signed a bill into law which allows any citizen of the United States to be taken into custody and held indefinitely without due process; additionally, he and his liberl minions in Congress shoved "Obamacare" down our throats in violation of the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Personally I can't wait to see how the Supreme Court rules on that one.

Now that the Republicans have taken control of one half of Congress, he has chosen to circumvent them and further ignore the Constitution by waiting until Congress is out of session and then making Cabinet appointments by decree rather than by the process established in the Constitution. That's because he knows he stands a snowball's chance in hell of getting his nominations past the Republicans in Congress who are on to him, so he just ignores the Constitution and goes around them.

More people are out of work now than ever in our nation's history since the Great Depression, and more Americans are on food stamps now than ever. Great work, NObama.

To top off my short list, I'll end with Eric Holder. NObama appointed this buffoon to the position of Attorney General of the United States, the most powerful legal post in the nation, and since that time Holder has been responsible for the disastrous "Fast and Furious" scheme which resulted in the death of a Federal agent - something for which Holder refuses to accept ANY responsibility. Hell, he claims he never even HEARD of the program until a few months ago - never mind that the documents provided by his own office prove that he knew about it at least a year and a half ago! And then, when he gets called up to testify before Congress, he refuses to acknowledge that he's under oath and then LIES to Congress about his knowledge and involvement. And to top it all off, he then has the unmitigated gall to say that the only reason people are "going after" him is to get back at NObama because, you know, he and NObama are both black.

In other words, you're not a lying, incompetent asshole, the rest of the world is racist. Riiiiiiiight...

Like I said, this is the short list as to why I just can't figure out why anyone with a lick of common sense would vote for this man again, and I truly and sincerely wish someone out there would tell me why they think they should. And I'm not interested in hearing the same tired old line spouted by all of the Demoncrats and Liberals as to why I shouldn't vote for the other guy - heard it, dismissed it as BS, don't wanna hear it again. I want to hear a sane, mature, LOGICAL list of reasons as to why ANYONE should vote for this man again. And be prepared to back them up with FACTS, not opinions.

Anyone? Anyone?
